Bar: New York: 230 Fifth Rooftop Garden

A luxurious and sexy 8,000 square foot fully enclosed Penthouse Lounge with seating for up to 600 guests. Large, but intimate, with a '1940s modernist' decor with many original furnishings, including couches and cocktail tables by artisans such as Vladimir Kagan, Sue and Mare, Renee Drouet, Willy Rizzo, Carlo Mollino, and Petra Blaisse, who was chosen by Rem Koolhaas to help design part of the interior of the Seattle Public Library.

Surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows and beveled peach mirrors, the Penthouse of 230 Fifth has breathtaking panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, with a 'head-on' look at the Empire State and Chrysler buildings, as well as the golden domed New York Life Building and purple crowned Met Life Building. Off a little into the distance, as you look up the Hudson River, you'll spy the Statue of Liberty.

The Penthouse Lounge is open to the public 365 days a year from 4:00pm to 4:00am. The Penthouse Lounge also has private, sequestered areas that are available for private functions for 25 people up to 600 guests.
